Volunteer with Cancer CAREpoint

Help local cancer patients, cancer survivors, and their families

Vital to Cancer CAREpoint’s ability to provide personalized, one-on-one care is the behind-the-scenes support of an amazing core of volunteers. Whether they are staffing a health fair, helping in the office, coordinating fundraising opportunities, serving on our board or committees, or helping in hundreds of other ways, we simply could not do it without them and their great, can-do attitudes.

If you’d like to find out more about what it means to become a volunteer for Cancer CAREpoint, please call us at 408.402.6611 or email for information about our orientation/education meetings that will give you in-depth information and answer all your questions.

Group Projects

Cancer CAREpoint’s group volunteer projects provide team-building opportunities as well as bring community support to cancer patients.

CARE Kits: Help assemble kits filled with items to bring comfort, relief, and support to those impacted by cancer in Silicon Valley, including patients in treatment and caregivers. CARE Kits are available at no charge and mailed directly to recipients. You will bring a community of support right to their doorsteps!

No-Sew Blankets: Groups will purchase flannel material and make no-sew blankets (using just scissors) for cancer patients undergoing treatment.  Learn more.
