Family CARE - Facilitating healthy communication in families when a parent is diagnosed with cancer.

This one day program teaches parents how to help their children cope with their diagnosis.  Children also have the opportunity to talk about cancer with their peers.  Children communicate their feelings through craft activities and outdoor games with separate support groups for parents and children by age (5-8, 9-12, teens).  Space is limited and advanced registration is required.  Contact Laura Crutchlow, LCSW at laura@cancercarepoint.org or 408-402-6286.
