Gay Crawford, Past President

Gay has spent almost 40 years in the cancer field. She is a founder of Hospice of the Valley, an Honorary Life Member of the American Cancer Society, and a founder of the State's Cancer Registry and a number of other programs. She served as a reviewer on the national research program of the American Cancer Society, where more than $100 million is distributed nationally. She has numerous awards to her credit, including The American Cancer Society's highest volunteer honor, the St. George Medal, and a Lifetime Achievement Award. An involved member of the community, the Rotary Club of San Jose, where she serves on the board, and the Junior League of San Jose, Inc., Gay was one of the founders of Cancer CAREpoint.
