Allison runs her own consulting practice in Silicon Valley focused on marketing strategy and communications. Early in her career she worked in cancer research at Johnson & Johnson, followed by numerous positions in sales and marketing management for medical device organizations including Eppendorf, Carl Zeiss, Radionics and Photoelectron. Allison received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Simmons College and an M.B.A. from Sacred Heart University. After her father died from lung cancer, Allison set out to make a difference in the cancer community. She served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Brain Tumor Foundation (now known as the National Brain Tumor Society) for five years. Additionally, she sits on the American Cancer Society Leadership Council for Silicon Valley, the ACS Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) Board and is current Chair of the 2013, ACS CAN Bay Area Research Breakfast.
